Partner debut ‘Comfort Zone’

Partner debut ‘Comfort Zone’

Here it is! The first listen/look of the long-awaited and upcoming Partner full-length.

“A comfort zone does not have to be a place. A comfort zone is whatever makes you feel at ease. It can be a person, an object, a sensation. No two comfort zones are the same. We recognize that we have had the privilege and good fortune to experience comfort in a way that unfortunately eludes many. We feel that everyone deserves to feel the relief, however fleeting, that is offered by a comfort zone. We recognize that most people spend the majority of their time outside their comfort zones, and with this song, we hope to express our belief that everyone deserves to feel comfortable and safe.

Whatever, wherever, whoever your comfort zone may be, it is our hope that you are able to access it as often as is necessary.

Love and respect,
Partner.”

“Sorry we’ve been gone so long! Things have finally settled down after a whirlwind summer of touring, and we are pleased to share with you this small preview of things to come. This is one of our favorite songs to play live and one that our audiences seem to enjoy, so we gathered in Toronto to try to capture that joy and deliver it to you. We are proud and excited to say that this song has grown leaps and bounds since we’ve been working on our first studio album, and want to thank you for your patience as we work to make the best possible album we can. In the meantime, you can catch us at any of these upcoming dates. We’d love to see you.

All Ages Event

This space is physically accessible, the bathrooms are up a short flight of 3 stairs.

We recognize and acknowledge that this event takes place on unceded, unsurrendered Algonquin-Anishinabe territory. We also ask that attendees be kind humans, and leave antiquated attitudes at the door, including but not limited to a zero tolerance for racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ageism, ableism, and you’re-not-my-vibe-ism. We’re here for a good time, not a WTF time.

In addition Steven Lambke will be performing as part of the Festival on Thursday August 18th at 5 Arlington at 5pm. This very special event is a book launch for Ian Roy’s new collection of stories, Meticulous, Sad and Lonely.
